Discontinuing the use of fossil fuels and increasing the use of sustainable, renewable energy sources, such as wind power, are important means of combating climate change. We enable renewable energy production by leasing land for wind power production.
Our goal is for 100 new wind farms to be built on our lands during the program period, with a total energy production capacity of about 600 MW. Increasing the amount of wind -generated power production will have significant substitutability effects.
Progress towards meeting this target is monitored annually. In addition to progress in the construction of power plants, the magnitude of substitutability effects depends on their annual utilisation rate and the form of substitutable energy production.
